This official Machu Picchu entrance ticket for Circuit 3C issued by the Peruvian government grants you access to the Royalty route located in Circuit 3 of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The route takes about 1 hour to complete. In addition, you will be able to walk to the Temple of the Moon also known as the Great Cavern, a sacred site celebrated for its intricate stonework and spiritual significance. This trail will take an additional 3 to 4 hours to complete. Along this route, you’ll traverse through the lush jungle paths of Machu Picchu’s lower sectors, offering a unique perspective of the Inca citadel. This trail includes stunning views, serene natural surroundings, and opportunities to marvel at the ingenuity of Inca architecture.

. You must choose the specific time you will enter Machu Picchu when making your reservation at 7am or 9am. There is only a 30-minute late tolerance so try to arrive on time.

Helpful Tips: It is recommended you hire a Machu Picchu tour guide to take the best photos as there are no tripods or selfie sticks allowed. You must show your original passport along with your ticket at the entrance. The name on your passport and your Machupicchu ticket must match. You can NOT re-enter Machupicchu once you exit, so please make sure you are prepared to remain inside the entire time. There are no bathrooms or food allowed inside the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, so plan accordingly.

What Is Included?

You are purchasing the official entrance ticket to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and it will only give you access to the Inca ruins located in Circuit 3 of the Inca citadel. In addition, you will be able to walk to the Grand Cavern and visit the Temple of the Moon. The Grand Cavern trail takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
